Two clasps; CAPE COLONY; SOUTH AFRICA 1902. Medal is correctly named in impressed capitals to; 1993 PTE J. DEVENPORT. E. SURREY REGT. Devenport hailed from Lambeth in London and enlisted in the 4th Battalion on 19 November 1900. It looks as though Devenport was also entitled to the Defence of Ookiep medal.
