Description

There’s some old homesteads out there

We were camped under the shade of some big oak trees by a creek called Dixon Creek

Joe was one of the founding artists of the Cowboy Artists of America--the oldest and most respected organization of it's kind in the art world

It depicts a very common happening where the horses are watered on a creek or watering hole

The horses have been turned loose to graze while the cowboys get something to eat
