I wanted to add more lifegain for Crested Sunmare to roll off of that still stuck to the deck's theme and didn't gobble up too many slots, but investing too many cards into something that isn't your commander without black tutors never works out well
When the counter got to the end of the track on one side of the card, it would flip over, thus changing the day/night status
This versatile threat belongs in any white deck seeking early pressure and late-game value
Eventually, that deck morphed into Lord Windgrace when he released
This ability is pretty good in its own right, as moving a counter to a creature that is best at using it can allow your turns to go much more smoothly
