$20 Sevinne Graveyard Spellslinger Upgrade To tweak Mystic Intellect into a more focused Graveyard Spellslinger deck under Sevinne, the Chronoclasm, we're looking for a few things in particular: Better / faster ramp Faster ways to fill our graveyard More ways to cast spells from our graveyard More payoffs for casting instants or sorceries More payoffs for casting spells from our graveyard Better / cheaper / more consistent removal Better finishers That's what we want to add to the deck
We need cards that repeatedly make friends for us to tap
There are no real abuses that you can do with these cards, they will always cost you a mana in your turn, always replace themselves with a new card and should improve the quality of that card and/or the next few
Both of these cards take up a lot of life, though, and so they come paired with a health amount of lifegain in cards like Papalymo Totolymo, and Y'shtola's own ability.
Beyond just being a good card to include in any big green stompy Commander deck, Invasion of Ikoria facilitates some interesting combos
Even though the main set was released in June, Wizards of the Coast had planned a holiday release for November 3 It wasnt initially clear exactly what the holiday release would entail until todays preview panel at MagicCon Las Vegas, where we learned that it will feature new scene boxes and new card styles in special edition Collector Boosters
