I think Ajani wins the -7 ability contest because I imagine the number of games where blowing up all of your opponents land changes the outcome of the game to be higher than the number of games where taking 5d2-5 turns changes the outcome
The EDH crowd will love Sorin, too
Those proportions are the backbone of nearly every consistent EDH deck - enough lands to avoid mana screw, enough ramp and draw to keep the game moving, enough interaction to survive, and a real plan to win
This can be a good thing because you can easily cascade into a cheap multikicker spell, cast it for free, but still use its multikicker ability
