Rules will need to be clarified about whether this card can benefit from that effect as well, or if it only applies after the card is in play, as there is some confusion online already among players

That doesn't change the core problem: Endymion suffers from its incapability to include non-engine cards (like Handtraps or Boardbreakers) and its general inefficiency (especially lack of actual Combos) compared to the other far more resilient modern Combo Decks
