A big downside to this card - as with many of the legends on this list - is that you can't just do a straight reprint of this card thanks to the reserved list
Typically those decks are playing less creatures to either abuse mass removal themselves or just to accommodate the extra walkers in their list and so a mass removal spell that can take out their main threats en masse is of great use in matchups where most other Wrath effects are complete garbage able to take out a token or two, parhaps a Wall of Omens, at best
