It was essential to increase our sources of Toxic so we can have more chances of placing Poison counters as soon as possible on our opponents, and to have more answers as well, considering Commander is a battlefield with unexpected, and even wild, turn of events
If the Time Travel card is more expensive but provides value for the deck, then the deck would be able to make up for the tempo loss that comes from Suspending a card
The reason these decks are typically tribal is that is the most common theme that rewards you for just having a ton of stuff on the battlefield
However, [casthaven]Mist Raven[/casthaven], [casthaven]Grasp of Phantoms[/casthaven], [casthaven]Dinrova Horror[/casthaven], and [casthaven]Vanish into Memory[/casthaven] can ruin the tokens planwith [casthaven]Vanish into Memory[/casthaven] reading: Exile target token
Unfortunately, decks with lots of removal can kill this before the first trigger (it dies to Doom Blade), but it can be the nail in the coffin against aggro decks
