The glass is authentic and old as it fluoresces strongly under a UV light (see photo). The quality of the glass is very nice although thick and heavy, it has very good clarity. What is especially attractive about this piece is the beautifully upswept lip and the petal shaped foot. The piece measures 10 3 4 in height
