The cylindrical inflorescences appear in the early spring to summer with a width of approx. 7cm. With a pendulous habit on short lateral branchlets making this Banksia very unusual. The flowers are a dull pink in bud and open to a rusty metallic brown colour. It grows best on a sandy or well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. 1lt
