With Trample, all of the damage dealt past 0 (known in other games as overkill damage) is directed toward the player or Planeswalker (whichever the attacking player originally targeted)

This immediately brings the dreaded Giratina EX to mind, and with the new Stadium card Peculiar Plaza serving as a blessing to Psychic types, Mega Gradevoir EX can retreat for free and bring Giratina to the forefront

Its always fun to try to evaluate a Magic set before youve really had a decent chance to get in enough reps to properly assess just how good some cards are out in the wild
