Like the Charizard alternative full art card, Lugia V is a competitively viable Pokmon card but why would any player use such a valuable collectible when the standard Lugia V is available for less than $10
If there are additional costs to cast an artifact spell, or if the cost to cast a spell is increased by an effect (such as the one created by Thalia, Guardian of Thraben's ability), apply those increases before applying cost reductions
Magic has a habit of taking something really cool that hits with players, and then doing that same thing over and over until it doesnt feel all that special anymore
The English release trades around $350, while the original Japanese promo commands a noticeably steeper premium
That means it can't be affected by cards that interact with the graveyard, including those that could bring it back into play or to its owner's hand using Dredge
Or you could lean fully into hatebears and be quite oppressive
