Once it's on the battlefield, all of your stuff becomes free, which almost always leads to the game ending in short order
I appreciated the absurd amount of detail that went into the fictional Tetramon cards in the game, like all the creatures and the Pokmon-like layout
You can unlock that door even if there would be insufficient legal targets for that triggered ability
You have less of a battlefield presence, but you have the opportunity to poke a hole in the opponents game plan, hopefully long enough to pull ahead
Hence, the intended gameplan of the deck would be playing a bunch of small- to medium-sized creatures with a bunch of counters on them in the early game while filling the graveyard however you like
I prefer Time Elemental to Boomerang because its effect can be recurred indefinitely from the permanent itself, rather than a one-time-use instant
