SUPERB VIKING COIL RING, 10TH-11TH CENTURY AD, SIZE 8 3/4-9 4/18/2023 but undiscernibleGilt bronze, size, 8 3 4 9, of intricate construction. Made from a single piece by the lost wax process with a broad flat lenticular central panel hand engraved with double stipple borders enclosing a pattern of triangles around a medial divider. The sides with two segments of its coiled terminal, all in one piece. Iconic from rarely found undamaged as here. The surface restored with 24karat gold. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
