In some matches, it doesn't matter at all, but in other matches (especially against control), it can be super important for pushing across the last few points of damage after a sweeper or a bunch of removal
Being a Deck that does not run any Spell or Trap Cards, hand traps are the only sort of quick response effects that could help turn the Duel more to your favor
We may end up slightly downgrading the vehicles stats (the base power and toughness set by the animating effect takes precedence, even if you then crew the creature-vehicle afterwards), but rare vehicles with additional keywords and abilities retain all those characteristics, meaning this is often a good deal
While its Defense is zero, it gives you a free body to make Link Plays with, or at worst, a body that can slow the opponent down
