A legendary creature with a Royal Role token and Flowering of the White Tree on the field will have ward 1, ward 1, two separate ward triggers your opponents have to pay 1 extra mana for if they want their spell to resolve
While Azorius Control is not a heavy share of the Standard meta by any means whatsoever, I'm hopeful the addition of No More Lies at minimum will push it over the edge
Both are nice additions to the Starter Decks already being offered from previous sets, and they're both built in a way that should be easy enough to learn from a newcomer's perspective
Blast from the Past and Old Fogey were both printed with the classic border and featured mechanics long since taken out to pasture (Old Fogey was the first dinosaur creature card, a type reintroduced in Ixalan )
Previous printings of this card were flirting with a $10 price tag
I believe the best way to evaluate craft card is to look at the front face and see if its already good and playable
