If you fail to run sufficient basics it can live up to its name and absolutely ruin you, but otherwise its just a very fairly-costed ability that acts as a pressure valve for any lands that might be a little too good in a format like Standard
The Admirers is a 3/2 Elf that costs four mana and draws a card, and as you cast creatures (likely here with your exile trigger) you can spend to return it to your hand from your graveyard, so trade freely
Pair it with one of the earlier big pigs or Hoof for double the overkill
